She was born to a music promoter and manager, Don Arden, and had a financially unstable childhood even with the money her father made because of lack of financial management skills which taught young Sharon an important lesson—to manage finances wisely. She met Ozzy Osbourne, at the age of 18, while her father was managing Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath. When Ozzy left the band to go solo, Sharon became his manager and also started dating him and eventually marrying him.
She came into view of the public eye when she married this famous heavy metal singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne. She gained more fame through the reality tv show, “The Osbournes” (2002-2005) aired on MTV, which tracked the everyday lifestyle of her family including Jack and Kelly Osbourne. She is also a cancer survivor. In the early 2000s, Osbourne announced that she had colon cancer. She underwent surgery to remove a foot of large intestine and some surrounding lymph nodes on July 3rd, 2002.
