Kris Jenner Says Daughter Khloe ‘Hasn’t Stopped Crying’ Over ‘KUWTK’ Ending

A legacy came to an end on Tuesday (September 8th, 2020) when the Jenner-Kardashian family decided to discontinue their hit show from the E! Network. Apparently Khloe Kardashian is the most upset about KUWTK ending. On behalf of her entire family (which includes mom Kris; sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner; brother Rob Kardashian; and Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick) she delivered the news in a heartfelt statement wherein she said,

“To our amazing fans – It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians focuses on the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian–Jenner blended family. It first premiered on E! cable network on October 14, 2007.

It seems that out of all Kris Jenner’s children, Khloé has been the most shaken by this news. As the 64-year-old sweet ‘momager’ emotionally revealed a conversation with producer Ryan Seacrest, on Wednesday. “Khloé is the one who is taking it the hardest and hasn’t stopped crying since we announced.” Addressing her feelings she added, “She’s been so sweet and emotional about it. But there is so much more life yet to live and we’re going to have the best time doing what we do.” Ryan is the one who co-created and executive produced the hit reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2007.

The Reaction of the Kardashians

In the same interview when Ryan asked, “why the family decided to walk away after 14 years and 20 seasons?”, Kris said it was ultimately to give everyone a chance to “breathe” and “slow down a bit.”It’s been a hard decision, I’m not going to lie,” the mom continued. “It’s been very emotional.” she also mentioned that several members of the family made it clear that did not enjoy filming anymore.

She said everyone was teary-eyed upon the announcement of the news including her. She became emotional and said that the news hadn’t quite sunk in yet for her. “I got very, very emotional this morning,” she said. “I woke up and was in the gym at five with Khloe and Kim and we just kind of sat there and looked at each other and said, ‘Whoa, what a ride.'”

Khloe Kardashian in one of her Instagram’s post gives her own farewell to KUWTK ending the show as she writes:

“I am so grateful and thankful to everyone who has supported us and been there through it all,” Khloé said on her Instagram. “I’m too emotional to fully express myself at the moment. My sappy post will come soon. Change is hard but also needed at times❤️💔❤️💔 I love you all. Thank you for the memories!”
