The plot and story line of House of The Dragon
HBO has announced a prequel for Games of Thrones called “The House of Dragon”. The show jumps back 300 years before the happenings of the original series. The whole series will happen within the Targaryens and depicts the history of the dragon-riding Targaryen family. Expect to see how Daenerys’s ancestor Aegon the Conqueror invaded the Seven Kingdoms, united Westeros, and became the first king to sit on the Iron Throne. Though HBO has already announced the show, they are very tight-lipped about the details. However, the series definitely guarantees a mix of epic battles, political intrigue, and betrayals as Game of Thrones did.
The show is being co-created by George RR Martin Ryan Condal. Along with them, Miguel Sapochnik will also be handling some Showman duties. Sapochnik directed some of Game of Thrones‘ most epic episodes including season 6’s “Battle of the Bastards” and season 8’s “The Long Night”.
House of the Dragon release date
The speculations around the release date are predicting that The House of The Dragon will be released in late 2021 or anytime in 2022. HBO announced the idea of the series back in October 2019 and mentioned that it would be a 10-episode season. Though, it certainly seems HBO is in no rush with the release. In an interview with Deadline in January 2020, HBO President of Programming, Casey Bloys, revealed that the House of the Dragon writing team is already hard at work. It, however, pointed out that “it’s a big, complicated show”, so will take time getting to the screen.
Is there a trailer for House of Dragon?
There is no solid trailer available as of yet. The reason behind that is mainly because the series hasn’t yet gone into production. However, the Game of Thrones Youtube channel has released a 44 seconds long teaser.
Nonetheless, they want to keep their avid fans on their feet and have been announcing new updates related to the whole Games of Thrones conglomerate. By the reports, the series will have two the very first one is your House Of The Dragons which is paving the way for its next spin-off is based upon the publication, “Ice And Fire,” also written by George R.R. House Of The Dragons Casting Begins!
There are reports that the team of House of the Dragon has already started looking for the cast. Online, many are putting forth their own picks to play Daemon, they have been debating what would perfectly fit the character of Daemon. House of the Dragon has been focusing on its cast as it is set to begin filming in July and is expected to premiere on HBO sometime in 2022.

The fans have built their own theories of the Targaryens that will appear in the series. EW predicts that key roles could include King Viserys I, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Queen Alicent Hightower, and Aegon II Targaryen. But that remains unconfirmed.
