What is Hooponopono prayer?

The Hooponopono itself means “to make things right”. According to this prayer, your thoughts or what you perceive in your mind is what you get in reality. In other words, your perception of the mind becomes actions in your real life.

There are four elements that work as a miracle in ho’oponopono -the magical prayer of Hawaii. They are repentance, forgiveness, gratitude, and love. These four forces have been comprised in four phrases which you can repeat in any sequence, silent or aloud.

These affirmations are not mere words but a powerful prayer that can heal your mind and body when recited with belief and feelings. How you recite it, when to recite is completely upon you. You may chant this prayer for a specific problem in your life or even without any reasons. You can recite it when under meditation quietly or aloud in front of the mirror.

Just try to ask questions within yourself and introspect your deed. When chanting the affirmations ask yourself what I am sorry for? What I am thankful for? Do I really feel loved? and so on. Finding answers to these question will lead you into your aim. Don’t be scared of he answers you might have instead fight with the very cause of those frightening answers and come with positive ones by trying and making the wrong ones right. Finally you shall attain peace and reconciliation.

2) Forgive Me

Asking for forgiveness is almost similar to saying I am sorry. But this forgiveness should be within yourself, you are repenting and turning to you. This is how you start understanding your value. 4) I Love You

Self-love is a unique quality to behold to reach great heights. Say I love you to yourself, your god, your home, and anything you are fond of. Don’t hesitate to love and be loved. Love is the mightiest emotion that has the power to enhance and intensify the healing process of the Hooponopono.

Masters Of The Hooponopono Prayer

Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona

The pioneer behind the practice of the Hooponopono is Morrnah Simeona. She was the creator of “self Identity”. Morrnah was recolonized as a healer (Kahuna Iapa’au) in Hawaii and is also honored as a living treasure by the state of Hawaii.

“The main purpose of this process is to discover the Divinity within oneself. Ho’oponopono is a profound gift that allows one to develop a working relationship with the Divinity within and learn to ask that in each moment, our errors in thought, word, deed, or action be cleansed. The process is essentially about freedom, complete freedom from the past”

Morrnah Simeona

Morrnah left her mark of the hooponopono of the ancient Hawaiian method of problem-solving to the modern world as a treasure and a gift to be practiced.

Dr. Ihaleakalá Hew Len

Dr. Len was a teacher for Morrnah on the Hooponopono prayer. He was keen on providing simpler and advanced meanings so that they can be used for the modern world. The new process of prayer became individualized so that it can be practiced alone. The earlier ancient one was practiced in a group, mostly inside the family.

Dr. Joe Vitale

Dr. Joe Vitale was also a part of the Hooponopono practices with Dr Len and Morrnah. He along with Dr Len started exploring new and easy possibilities to practice the Hooponopono -the magical prayer of Hawaii to use it in modern times after Morrnah died. Now, he has introduced this prayer in vast sectors like health, wealth, relationships, family life, etc.
