fortnite halloween update

Fortnite chapter 2 season 4 was an absolute success and has been loved and appreciated by players all around the world. Chapter 3 of the game is already in the making. But what’s more to come is Fortnite annual Halloween celebration update, Fortnitemares. And leaks about the spooky goods coming to the game are already around and about.

The makers have jam-packed the whole season with substantial content for the players. We have everything from From skins to new POIs to new mythic weapons. On top of that, this season was Marvel-themed and therefore many players got to play as one of Marvel’s Greatest. And, how can we forget about cosmetics? These have been an integral part of the game and over the years, Fortnite has taken the responsibility to add a vast amount of skins and other cosmetics to the game. Similarly, this year’s Fortnite Halloween update will be receiving new Halloween-themed cosmetics too.

Release Date

The release date for Fortnitemare 2020 halloween update has not been announced. Since this is a Halloween event expect the updates to roll out a week before Halloween. The event should run all the way until the beginning of November!

Storm King LTM

The highlight of last year’s Halloween event was the Storm King LTM, which was the key game mode. This gave players the chance to earn a unique glider among other rewards. Hence, we can expect some sort of LTM again this year in the Halloween update on Fortnite, perhaps another Storm King one or something to do with the zombies!

Challenges

There will be an ample amount of challenges for players to complete accompanying LTM in the upcoming Halloween update on Fortnite.

Leaks

Although it is not confirmed whether Fortnitemare will come back as a Halloween update on Fortnite, thanks to the fine folk who have rooted around in the game’s backend, there appears to be mention of it, including references to “unfinished NPCs”, too.

Fortnite’s new account @Hypex shared that it looks like an alternate version of Midas is on the way – he may sport a Gold Scar (although it’s likely it’s just a placeholder) and is thought to boast 100 HP & 350 Shields – plus a Ghostly Ghost Henchman, which is thought to have an AP, Pump, SMG, or Pumpkin Launcher.
