Bella, 23, was seen reacting to stunning photos Gigi, 25, shared to social media of a recent pregnancy shoot she took part in. Where she tastefully revealed her baby bump. The model is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik. And it’s safe to say her family is pretty excited about the new arrival. Sharing photos of Gigi’s bump shoot to her own Instagram story, Bella was seen gushing over her sister and her unborn bubba. She wrote: ‘I’M GOING TO BE A FREAKING AUNTIE.’
An exhilarated Bella continued: ‘I will cherish this little bean forever. I am so proud of you @gigihadid. You are a glowing goddess of light, love, adventure and joy. Bless you.’ ‘I’m not crying, ur crying (sic),’ Bella added in another post, before penning: ‘I’m literally in the fetal position hysterically crying, thank you for your curiosity.’
Bella Hadid has a baby bump?
No, Bella is not pregnant!
Much more recently, on 16th September, Bella Hadid shared a snapshot into her and sister Gigi Hadid’s serene summer at home on their family’s Pennsylvania farm.
Taking to Instagram today, she posted a photo from June that featured her and Gigi posing side by side, baring their stomachs as the sun set. Of course, Gigi was cradling her burgeoning baby bump, which she confirmed publicly back in April, but Bella joked that her “bump” was thanks to a beefy dinner.
“June 11, 2020 …🖤two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn ✨👼🏼✨,” wrote Bella on Instagram. “I love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying 🥺.”
Why was the pregnancy rather private?
Though relatively private during her pregnancy, Gigi has opened up a bit more lately—most recently by sharing a series of stunning pregnancy portraits on Instagram last month. The supermodel was 33 weeks at the time of the photoshoot and provided fans some insight into how she was doing.
Gigi putting her baby bump on full display comes about a month and a half after the star explained why. Why she was being protective about sharing and disclosing too much about her pregnancy.
“Obviously, I think a lot of people are confused why I’m not sharing more, but like, I’m pregnant through a pandemic. Like, obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world,” she continued. Also sharing that she believes current world events (like the ongoing COVID-19 global health crisis and the Black Lives Matter movement) deserve more focus than her pregnancy.
“That’s a reason that I’ve felt that it’s not really something that I need to share, apart from with my family and friends,” Gigi explained at the time. “Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus — that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening.”
“And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that,” the model added.
“Cherishing this time. appreciate all the love & well wishes ♡ will never forget creating these special images with my friends @luigiandiango @gabriellak_j @erinparsonsmakeup thank you. I love you!” shared Gigi.
